The Tokai to Kamioka Experiment (T2K) is based out of Japan with collaborators in the U.S., Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany and the United Kingdom. The experiment is investigating neutrino oscillation using the near detector located at a distance of 280 meters and the detector in Kamioka, 295 kilometers away.
